Ahoy Decatur Sailors!

We are looking for drone photographers to help us with our Flying Scot instruction and coaching efforts. We are offering a drone photography clinic this Saturday to help introduce people to drone photography. We will provide the drone and train you on how you how to fly it. Teaching and coaching sailors with a chase drone is a fun, effective, and affordable alternative to purchasing a chase boat. We plan to use the drone to record training videos and provide real-time coaching to sailors over the VHF radio. When coaching with the drone, we broadcast the transmission to a TV so sailors in the pavilion can watch and learn as we provide coaching. This is a neat opportunity for non racers to have fun and support the effort. Our first session is this Saturday at 10:30am.
